and so it begins....

so after a rough winter of shooting rocks from our driveway at our neighbors, countless sheer pins replaced from jammed rocks in the snow blower, we thought we'd look into getting a cheap Jeep CJ with a plow.

We looked at this 1975 CJ listed on Craigslist/Akron for $1650....

This is actually the best side. Despite having holes in every panel, the passenger door held shut with a tie wrap, not much of a clutch left, a strong gas smell, and a noticeable tick in the 6 cylinder engine, the plow worked perfectly. However, when we offered $1000, he said he couldn't take a penny less than $1650... we left. But, we had a starting point.

Jump ahead a week or so, and checking out a few more we stumbled upon this one on Craigslist/Cleveland

1991 Jeep Wrangler with plow $3500

it's been a very long time since I brought a stray mutt home...

surface rust aside, it's very solid, and everything works, and no gas smell

on the way home, I was jetisoned back to 1968, working for Joe Nekoroski Landscaping. Amazingly there wasn't much difference driving this one compared to the 1955 Willys I drove while working for Joe.

sure it needs some work.. but not as much as the red '75 above

and so the adventure begins....
